FAQ

Answers before you reserve.

The questions people ask most about the platform and the 2026 Summit.

What is The Intellectual Summit?

The Intellectual Summit trains young people to think clearly, speak with conviction, and lead beyond their immediate circle. It began as a single webinar and has grown into a full platform of talks, workshops, and a yearly gathering.

Who is it for?

It is built for young people who refuse to think small: students, young professionals, and the mentors who work with them. If you are ready to lead rather than observe, the room is designed for you.

When and where is the 2026 Summit?

The Summit takes place on 7 November 2026 at Okunozee Hall in Okada. It is an in person event running across a single day.

What happens on the day?

A single day of talks, mentorship, and conversation, structured around the three outcomes TIS is built on: purpose, voice, and reach. A general networking session is included for everyone attending.

What access tiers are available?

Three. Standard gives full day access to the main hall, all talks, and the general networking session. Premium adds priority seating, a dedicated mentorship touchpoint, and event materials. VIP is the complete experience, with front row seating, a speaker meet and greet, and the closing reception.

Is seating limited?

Yes. Seating is limited across the three tiers, which is why reservations are made in advance rather than at the door.

Do I need public speaking experience to attend?

No. The Voice track exists precisely because most people have not been trained to speak. Sessions are practical and are run in front of a real room so you can practise rather than only listen.

What should I bring or prepare?

Bring a question you genuinely want answered, and if you plan to speak, an idea you are prepared to defend. The sessions are structured around participation.

Is the Summit only for people in Okada or Lagos?

The platform is Lagos born and the 2026 gathering is held in Okada, but the standard TIS works to is deliberately global. Anyone able to attend in person on the day is welcome.

How do I reserve a seat or ask a question?

Choose a tier on the Summit 2026 page and reserve, or send your question through the enquiry form on the contact page and include the tier you are considering.
